The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the combatants met personally to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
Despite such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's largest financial successes, regularly earning substantial earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul met for the customary stare-down, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really proceeding.
