Cars in German Town Discovered Covered with Swastikas in Blood, Police State

Incident location Affected vehicle Area Law Enforcement
Authorities reported they were contacted by a individual who found a car in Hanau covered with red-colored liquid

Roughly 50 cars have been smeared with what appears to be human bodily fluid in the German municipality of Hanau near Frankfurt, police confirm law enforcement.

Automobiles, exterior walls and postboxes were defaced, in some cases with swastikas, they reported in a statement.

Police state they were contacted in the late hours on Wednesday, when a man discovered that a vehicle in the Lamboy district of Hanau had been covered with a red-colored liquid.

The fluid had been drawn in the form of a banned symbol, they added.

Police then discovered multiple other marked vehicles and house walls in the surrounding area.

Swastikas are prohibited in Germany under laws banning the visible presentation of Nazi-era symbols.

Law enforcement state preliminary tests indicate the liquid was likely human bodily fluid.

"At present there remains no clue as to its source; investigators are presently not cognizant of any harm in association with the occurrence," they stated.

Local authorities announced they were working "to unravel the case" and have appealed to the public for details.

An important political figure commented the attack rendered him stunned and required to be resolved quickly.

"This event hits the center of Hanau and reawakens the pain of the far-right terrorist attack five years ago," he posted on a platform, referring to the murder of nine people by a gunman focusing on people of foreign heritage in five years prior.
